Happy Spring to all of you!
Lyne Belanger and her team have been very busy organizing what is going to be a fabulous conference this year. I urge you all to try and attend this wonderful learning opportunity. Below are listed the latest updates.
From COS
Registration: Kimberly Ross, executive assistant COS is still requesting that members register online when/if possible. www.eyesite.ca. When registering, CSORN members should select Allied Health Professionals CSORN. This fee is $140.00 per person. Non-CSORN Membership fees have been increased to $200.00.The deadline for advance registration is May 20th, 2007. After this date, members will pay an additional $100.00 late fee.
NOTE: COS requires that a paid CSORN membership list be submitted to Kimberly Ross prior to May 1st. CSORN membership fees not received prior to this date will be subject to register under non-membership fee of $200 COS/CSORN Conference.
Hotels
This year’s conference will be hosted at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth, Montreal.

All eligible members of CSORN are reminded to submit requests for COS registration reimbursement/funding to Veronica Mills, as soon as possible.

Objectives:
As a forum for nurses This session will enable sharing of issues relevant to nursing practice in an ophthalmology setting. Participants will learn new trends in treatments for certain eye diseases. Ophthalmic nurses will gain new information about a broad number of topics affecting their daily work in both clinical and surgical settings.
Objectifs :
Ce forum permettra le partage de connaissances reliées à la pratique du nursing en ophtalmologie. De nouvelles façons de traiter certaines maladies de l’oeil seront présentées. Les infirmières en ophtalmologie pourront ainsi parfaire leurs connaissances sur un nombre varié de sujets qui ont trait à leur champ d'activités en milieu chirurgical et/ou clinique.
