Guidelines for the Formation of Provincial/Regional Interest Groups
Number of People in the Interest Group
- There needs to be a minimum of 10 CSORN members to form an interest group.
- All members must have a current membership in CSORN.
Meetings/Educational Sessions
- All planned meetings should be communicated to all members of CSORN in the geographical area.
- The meeting must include an educational component.
- Vendor support must be acknowledged.
Financial Accountability
- The National CSORN treasurer will send ($10 amount per CSORN member in the region) to the regional representative as start up money for the group.
- Financial books must be kept by the group indicating monies received from the national CSORN Group, funding received form the vendor community and all money's spent for each event.
- These books should receive an audit when the treasurer/person responsible for the group changes. These audits may be performed by members who do not make up any part of the planning team.
Attendance at Meetings
- Attendance must be taken for all attendees and notation made of those who do not have a current membership. These individuals should be expected to join CSORN.
